BURGLARY ARREST JKB 4/27/12

  • A FORT BRAGG MAN WITH SEVERAL OUTSTANDING WARRANTS WAS ARRESTED FOR TWO RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES WEDNESDAY AFTER HE WAS CONFRONTED BY NEIGHBORS AND AT LEAST ONE OF THE VICTIMS.

29 YEAR OLD NICHOLAS POLLARD WAS SEEN BY ONE OF THE VICTIMS CARRYING A CHAINSAW FROM HIS PROPERTY THAT HE CLAIMED HE FOUND AND WAS RETURNING TO THE VICTIM. POLLARD THEN LEFT ON FOOT. THE VICTIM BELIEVED HE HAD INTERRUPTED A BURGLARY IN PROGRESS AS HE RETURNED HOME AT AROUND 10:30 AM, AND DISCOVERED ITEMS MISSING FROM BOTH HIS AND HIS NEIGHBORS HOUSE. DEPUTIES WERE CALLED BACK TO THE AREA AT AROUND 4 PM AFTER THE VICTIM AND SEVERAL OTHERS CONFRONTED POLLARD AND WERE DETAINING HIM UNTIL POLICE ARRIVED. POLLARD WAS BOOKED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL FOR BURGLARY AND THREE OUTSTANDING WARRANTS.

MOTHER DEFENDS SONS KILLER IN COURT JKB 4/27/12

  • THE MOTHER OF A CRESCENT CITY MAN WHO WAS SHOT TO DEATH BY HIS GIRLFRIEND, DEFENDED THE ACCUSED WOMAN IN COURT YESTERDAY, SAYING SHE WAS THE VICTIM.

34 YEAR OLD MISTY FITZHUGH IS ACCUSED OF SHOOTING AND KILLING 43 YEAR OLD JEFFREY BARTLEY WITH A RIFLE NEAR THE TOWN OF SMITH RIVER IN DEL NORTE COUNTY SUNDAY NIGHT. AT HER ARRAIGNMENT YESTERDAY BARTLEYS MOTHER DEFENDED FITZHUGH SAYING THE WOMAN HAD BEEN THE VICTIM OF A VIOLENT RELATIONSHIP AT THE HANDS OF HER SON. ACCORDING TO POLICE, THE COUPLE HAD BEEN STAYING WITH A RELATIVE OF BARTLEYS ON ROWDY CREEK ROAD AND HAD BEEN ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY EARLIER IN THE DAY. THEIR TRAVEL TRAILER AND TRUCK HAD BEEN MOVED DOWN TO A TURNOUT DOWN ON ROWDY CREEK ROAD. A FIGHT BROKE OUT BETWEEN THE COUPLE AND FITZHUGH WAS ABLE TO PLACE A PHONE CALL TO A RELATIVE FOR HELP. KNOWING THE PAST VIOLENCE BETWEEN THE COUPLE THE RELATIVE ARRIVED WITH A HUNTING RIFLE FOR PROTECTION AND LEANED IT UP AGAINST HIS VEHICLE TO USE BOTH HANDS TO RESTRAIN BARTLEY, WHO WAS ALLEGEDLY BEATING FITZHUGH IN THE TRAILER. AT SOME POINT FITZHUGH GRABBED THE RIFLE AND SHOT BARTLEY IN THE BACK. SHE HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH MURDER AND HAS PLEADED NOT GUILTY.

BOMB SCARE AT VA CLINIC JKB 4/27/12

  • TWO SUSPICIOUS PACKAGES AT THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS CLINIC IN CLEARLAKE LED TO THE EVACUATION OF THE CLINIC AND AN INVESTIGATION BY AUTHORITIES YESTERDAY.

THE CLINIC WAS CLOSED AT NOON WHEN ONE OF THE PACKAGES RECEIVED THROUGH THE MAIL WAS HEARD MAKING A NOISE. POLICE AND FIRE INVESTIGATORS LATER DETERMINED THAT THE NOISY PACKAGE CONTAINED A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WITH LOW BATTERIES AND WAS NOT A DANGER. THE ALL CLEAR TO RETURN TO THE BUILDING WAS GIVEN AT AROUND 3:20 PM.

E-QUAKE OFF HUMBOLDT COUNTY COAST JKB 4/27/12

  • AN AREA 36 MILES WEST OF PETROLIA OFF THE HUMBOLDT COUNTY COAST WAS SHAKEN BY A 4.1 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE EARLY THIS MORNING.

THE QUAKE OCCURRED AT 1:38 AM. NO TSUNAMI WARNING WAS ISSUED AND THERE WERE NO REPORTS OF DAMAGE OR INJURIES ON SHORE.

MAN ARRESTED FOR TORCHING CAR AT DMV JKB 4/27/12

  • A DALY CITY MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY SET FIRE TO A CAR IN THE PARKING LOT AT THE LOCAL DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES OFFICE MONDAY.

64 YEAR OLD HUGO CARRANZA WAS CAUGHT ON VIDEO TAPE, DOUSING THE CADILLACS WHEELS WITH OIL OR GAS AND LIGHTING THEM ON FIRE. ACCORDING TO INVESTIGATORS, CARRANZA WAS ANGRY THAT HIS OWN CAR THAT HE USED FOR HIS HOUSE CLEANING BUSINESS HAD BEEN TOWED AWAY FOR HAVING EXPIRED TAGS IN OCTOBER. THE VEHICLE CARRANZA TORCHED DID NOT BELONG TO A DMV EMPLOYEE, BUT HE THOUGHT IT DID. HE PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO CHARGES OF FELONY VANDALISM AND ARSON AT AN ARRAIGNMENT YESTERDAY.

SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH JKB 4/27/12

  • A SINGLE VEHICLE ROLL OVER ACCIDENT SLOWED TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAY 20 IN LUCERNE YESTERDAY EVENING.

THE CRASH OCCURRED JUST AFTER 7 PM AND INVOLVED A PICK UP TRUCK. ONE PERSON WAS AIRLIFTED FROM THE SCENE TO SANTA ROSA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. A SECOND PERSON WAS REPORTEDLY TRANSPORTED TO SUTTER LAKESIDE HOSPITAL IN A PRIVATE VEHICLE. THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE INVOLVED AND THEIR CONDITIONS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE ACCIDENT SLOWED TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAY 20 FOR A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR.

  • A FORT BRAGG MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE DROVE HIS CAR OVER THE SIDE OF HIGHWAY 101 NEAR THE CAL FIRE HOWARD FOREST STATION IN WILLITS EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING.

ACCORDING TO OFFICIALS, 24 YEAR OLD JUSTIN LEE DROVE OVER THE EMBANKMENT JUST AS AN AMBULANCE PASSING EN ROUTE TO ANOTHER CALL SPOTTED HIM AT AROUND 2:25 AM. HE HAD TO BE EXTRICATED FROM THE WRECKAGE AND TAKEN TO HOWARD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT OF MINOR INJURIES. HE WAS LATER ARRESTED FOR DUI AND BOOKED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL.

MENDOCINO COUNTY WORKERS MEMORIAL DAY JKB 4/27/12

  • THE 12 ANNUAL MENDOCINO COUNTY WORKERS MEMORIAL DAY COMMEMORATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE SATURDAY AFTERNOON CLUB ON SCHOOL STREET TOMORROW.

U.S. NAVY SEAL JESS PITTMAN, WHO DIED ALONG WITH 29 AMERICAN SERVICE MEN WHEN THEIR HELICOPTER WAS SHOT DOWN OVER AFGHANISTAN, AND MICHAEL EAGLETON, A WORKER THAT WAS HIT AND KILLED BY A TRUCK ON THE COAST IN FEBRUARY.

  • ANOTHER INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENT HAS BEEN REPORTED IN LAKEPORT, THE SECOND IN AS MANY DAYS.

ACCORDING TO POLICE, THE FEMALE VICTIM NOTICED A NEWER MODEL BLUE CHEVY IMPALA WITH AN AIR FIN ON THE TRUNK FOLLOWING HER AS SHE DROVE THROUGH TOWN. WHEN SHE REACHED THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH MAIN STREET AND LAKEPORT BLVD, THE SUSPECT PULLED ALONG SIDE TO HER LEFT AND HONKED HIS HORN TO GET HER ATTENTION. WHEN THE VICTIM LOOKED OVER, SHE SAW THE DRIVER MASTURBATING WHILE LOOKING DIRECTLY AT HER. THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS BEING A WHITE MALE ADULT, 30 TO 35 YEARS OF AGE, WITH A THIN BUILD, WEARING A BLACK BASEBALL CAP, SUNGLASSES, WHITE T-SHIRT AND BLUE JEANS. THE DESCRIPTION IS SIMILAR TO THE SUSPECT INVOLVED IN AN INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENT ON TUESDAY MORNING IN WHICH A MASTURBATING MAN RAN AFTER A FEMALE JOGGER. POLICE BELIEVE THE TWO INCIDENTS ARE RELATED AND INVOLVE THE SAME SUSPECT. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ON EITHER INCIDENT IS ASKED TO CONTACT THE LAKEPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT.

PROSECUTOR INVESTIGATED FOR POT GROW JKB 4/26/12

  • A MENDOCINO COUNTY PROSECUTOR IS BEING INVESTIGATED IN CONNECTION WITH A MARIJUANA GROWING OPERATION FOUND AT HIS HOME ON MONDAY.

A SEARCH WARRANT WAS SERVED ON THE HOME THAT DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY SERGIO FUENTES SHARES WITH HIS MOTHER IN UKIAH. POLICE FOUND ABOUT 150 GROWING MARIJUANA PLANTS. FUENTES HAS BEEN PLACED ON PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE PENDING THE OUTCOME OF AN INVESTIGATION. NO ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE.

BODY FOUND AT BODEGA HEAD JKB 4/26/12

  • SONOMA COUNTY AUTHORITIES RETRIEVED THE REMAINS OF AN UNIDENTIFIED MAN FROM THE SURF BELOW BODEGA HEAD YESTERDAY MORNING.

THE BODY WAS SPOTTED AT THE BASE OF A 250 FOOT CLIFF BY TOURISTS HIKING IN THE AREA TUESDAY EVENING. INVESTIGATORS SAY IT IS TOO EARLY TO TELL IF THE BODY IS THAT OF ONE OF THE FOUR MISSING CREW MEMBERS FROM A SAILBOAT THAT CAPSIZED APRIL 14TH OFF THE FARALLON ISLANDS, BUT SAID IS WAS ONE OF MULTIPLE POSSIBILITIES. ACCORDING TO OFFICIALS THERE WERE NO OBVIOUS SIGNS OF FOUL PLAY. AN AUTOPSY IS EXPECTED TO BE CONDUCTED TODAY OR TOMORROW.

SEX SOLICITATION SENTENCE JKB 4/26/12

  • A CLEARLAKE MAN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO THE MAXIMUM TERM POSSIBLE FOR SOLICITING SEX WITH A TEENAGE GIRL THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSAGES AND TEXTS, AND FOR USING FACEBOOK TO SEND A LEWD MESSAGE TO ANOTHER UNDERAGE GIRL.

29 YEAR OLD JASON RUSSELL WAS SENTENCED TO FOUR YEARS IN STATE PRISON. ACCORDING TO PROSECUTORS, RUSSELL CONTACTED THE FIRST VICTIM THROUGH FACEBOOK. SHE RESPONDED BY TELLING HIM THAT SHE WAS JUST 15 YEARS OLD AND ASKED THAT HE STOP CONTACTING HER. WHEN HE CONTINUED WITH THE SEXUALLY EXPLICIT MESSAGES, SHE TOLD HER PARENTS, WHO THEN CONTACTED POLICE. A SHERIFFS INVESTIGATOR POSING AS THE VICTIM, CONTACTED RUSSELL AND SET UP A DATE TO GET TOGETHER WITH HIM AT AUSTIN PARK TO HAVE SEX. RUSSELL WAS ARRESTED AT THE PRESCRIBED MEETING PLACE AND TIME. HE ADMITTED TO GOING THERE WITH THE INTENT TO HAVE SEX WITH THE MINOR VICTIM. AFTER HIS ARREST ANOTHER MINOR VICTIM CAME FORWARD SAYING SHE TOO HAD RECEIVED A SEXUALLY EXPLICIT MESSAGE FROM RUSSELL.

TROTTER NAMED CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER JKB 4/26/12

  • DR. MARVIN TROTTER HAS BEEN NAMED THE CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER AT THE UKIAH VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER.

ROUND VALLEY TRIBE TO RECEIVE SETTLEMENT MONEY JKB 4/26/12

  • THE ROUND VALLEY INDIAN TRIBE WILL RECEIVE $8.5 MILLION DOLLARS TO SETTLE A LAWSUIT WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

THE LAWSUIT, FILED IN 2006, ALLEGES FEDERAL MISMANAGEMENT OF TRIBAL RESOURCES DATING BACK TO 1856 WHEN THE ROUND VALLEY INDIAN RESERVATION WAS ESTABLISHED. THE SETTLEMENT IS PART OF A $1 BILLION DOLLAR AGREEMENT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MADE WITH 41 TRIBES WHO FILED INDIVIDUAL LAWSUITS FOR MISMANAGEMENT OF FUNDS AND NATURAL RESOURCES. ROUND VALLEY TRIBAL LEADERS SAY THE MONEY WILL BE USED TO FUND COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND JOB CREATION.

67 YEAR OLD ANTHONY LLERENA HAD BEEN MISSING SINCE APRIL 15TH. A CALTRANS CREW WORKING ALONG THE HIGHWAY SPOTTED HIS CAR MONDAY MORNING. HIS CAR HAD CRASHED INTO A TREE NEAR ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON STATE PARK. THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE ACCIDENT IS CONTINUING.

MASTURBATING MAN FOLLOWS JOGGER JKB 4/25/12

  • LAKEPORT POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR A MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY EXPOSED HIMSELF TO A WOMAN WHILE SHE WAS JOGGING NEAR SECOND AND NORTH TUNIS STREETS EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING.

THE WOMAN REPORTED THAT THE SUSPECT HAD BEEN TOUCHING HIMSELF WHILE FOLLOWING HER AS SHE JOGGED JUST AFTER 6 AM. AT ONE POINT SHE FOUND HIM RUNNING BEHIND HER IN CLOSE PROXIMITY WHILE MASTURBATING. A SEARCH OF THE AREA BY POLICE FAILED TO LOCATE HIM. THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE MALE ADULT IN HIS EARLY TO MID TWENTIES, APPROXIMATELY SIX FEET TALL WITH A THIN BUILD, MEDIUM LENGTH DARK BROWN WAVY HAIR AND NO FACIAL HAIR. HE WAS WEARING A LOOSE FITTING DARK NAVY BLUE HOODED SWEATSHIRT AND FADED BLUE JEANS. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CASE, THE SUSPECT, OR SIMILAR INCIDENTS IS ASKED TO CONTACT THE LAKEPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT.

MAD COW DISEASE CONFIRMATION JKB 4/25/12

· THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE REPORTED YESTERDAY THAT THE FOURTH CASE OF BOVINE SPONGIFORM ENCEPHALOPATHY, COMMONLY KNOWN AS MAD COW DISEASE, HAS BEEN CONFIRMED IN A CALIFORNIA DAIRY COW.

THE DISEASED ANIMAL WAS IDENTIFIED THROUGH THE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURES ANIMAL AND PLANT HEALTH INSPECTION SERVICE. THE ANIMALS CARCASS IS BEING HELD UNDER STATE AUTHORITY AT A RENDERING FACILITY IN CALIFORNIA AND WILL BE DESTROYED.   • A SANTA ROSA MAN ACCUSED OF FATALLY STABBING HIS FATHER MORE THAN 50 TIMES WITH TWO KITCHEN KNIVES, HAS BEEN FOUND COMPETENT BY A SECOND DOCTOR TO STAND TRAIL FOR MURDER.

21 YEAR OLD HOUSTON HERCZOG WAS FOUND MENTALLY FIT BY A SECOND FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGIST, CLEARING THE WAY FOR THE REINSTATEMENT OF CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS IN THE DEATH OF 63 YEAR OLD MARK HERCZOG ON NOVEMBER 21ST OF LAST YEAR. HERCZOGS DEFENSE LAYER OBJECTED TO THE DECISION AND CALLED FOR A JURY TRIAL TO DETERMINE IF HE IS ABLE TO ASSIST IN HIS DEFENSE. THAT TRIAL HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 4TH. 23 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER MCDONALD WAS REMOVED FROM LIFE SUPPORT AFTER BEING DECLARED BRAIN DEAD TUESDAY EVENING. HE WAS ARRESTED LAST WEEK ON SUSPICION OF KILLING 11 MONTH OLD SEBASTIAN MCDONALD, THE SON OF HIS FORMER GIRLFRIEND. MCDONALD WAS NOT RELATED TO THE CHILD DESPITE THE COMMON LAST NAMES. THE CHILD WAS FOUND DEAD OFF EUREKA WAY LAST THURSDAY AND HAD DIED OF BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA. MCDONALD WAS CHARGED FOR THE CHILDS MURDER AND JAILED ON THE SAME DAY. THE FISH ARE BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN ILLEGALLY TAKEN FROM THE GARCIA RIVER. IT IS ILLEGAL TO TAKE ANY WILD STEELHEAD FROM MENDOCINO COUNTY RIVERS. THE LIMIT FOR POSSESSION OF WATERFOWL IS 14. THE MENDOCINO COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE IS INVESTIGATING THE CASE AND IS EXPECTED TO FILE CHARGES IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

  • AN OREGON MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER LEADING LAKE COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPUTIES ON A HIGH SPEED CHASE MONDAY EVENING.

DEPUTIES WERE CALLED TO A LOCATION IN HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE AT AROUND 10:15 PM WHERE SEVERAL PEOPLE WERE SEEN AT A RESIDENCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE VACANT. AS THEY APPROACHED, A MAN LATER IDENTIFIED AS 20 YEAR OLD THOMAS MEDEIROS OF BONANZA OREGON BACKED OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY IN HIS PICKUP AND LEFT AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. HE FAILED TO YIELD AT STOP SIGNS, CROSSED THE DOUBLE YELLOW CENTERLINE NUMEROUS TIMES AND TRAVELED AT SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MILES AN HOUR DOWN NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS BEFORE PULLING OVER. HE WAS ARRESTED FOR FELONY EVADING OF A PEACE OFFICER AND DUI.

THEFT ARREST JKB 4/20/12

  • A UKIAH MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER SEVERAL WITNESSES SAW HIM USE A LAWN CART TO STEAL MULTIPLE SPOOLS OF COPPER WIRE FROM A CONSTRUCTION SITE ACROSS THE STREET FROM WHERE HE LIVED.

WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THE SPOOLS OF WIRE LEFT LYING IN FRONT OF HIS HOUSE ON WEDNESDAY, 37 YEAR OLD STEVEN SIMPSON CLAIMED HE DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM. DEPUTIES DETERMINED SIMPSON TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND HE WAS FOUND IN POSSESSION OF A SMALL AMOUNT OF METHAMPHETAMINE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE OF THE THEFT AT THE SCENE. HE WAS BOOKED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL ON NUMEROUS CHARGES.

CHARLOTTE ANNA MOLINARI HAD REPORTEDLY BEEN FEELING DEPRESSED BEFORE RIDING HER BIKE AWAY FROM THE FAMILYS APARTMENT NEAR CODDINGTOWN MALL AT AROUND 9:45 SATURDAY MORNING. SHE HAS NOT BEEN SEEN SINCE. SHE TOLD THE FAMILY BEFORE SHE LEFT SHE WANTED TO GO TO SPRING LAKE AND ANNADEL. AUTHORITIES SAY THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF FOUL PLAY AND THEY ARE CONCERNED FOR THE TEENS MENTAL STATUS. MOLINARI IS DESCRIBED AS 5 FEET 9 INCHES TALL, 150 POUNDS WITH BROWN CURLY HAIR AND BROWN EYES. SHE WAS LAST SEEN WEARING A DARK BLUE KNEE LENGTH COAT AND A GREEN BACKPACK. SHE ALSO HAD A UKULELE AND A LAPTOP COMPUTER, AND WAS RIDING A GREEN MOUNTAIN BIKE.   • A WILLITS MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE THREATENED A SHERIFFS LIEUTENANT WITH A SHOVEL YESTERDAY MORNING.

THE LIEUTENANT WAS RESPONDING TO A REPORT OF AN AGGRESSIVE PERSON A MILE UP MUIR MILL ROAD IN WILLITS AT AROUND 9 AM WHEN HE ENCOUNTERED WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS AN ABANDONED PICK UP TRUCK. AS HE APPROACHED THE VEHICLE, 31 YEAR OLD JAMES NORTON JUMPED OUT OF THE TRUCK, GRABBED A SHOVEL FROM THE BED AND AGGRESSIVELY CHARGED THE LIEUTENANT. HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY A SHORT TIME LATER. THE TRUCK TURNED OUT TO BE STOLEN OUT OF UKIAH. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THEY NORTON HAD ALSO THREATENED A MOTORIST WITH THE SHOVEL WHO STOPPED TO SEE IF HE NEEDED HELP, DEMANDING MONEY AN DRUGS. NORTON WAS BOOKED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL ON A NUMBER OF CHARGES INCLUDING ASSAULT OF A PEACE OFFICER WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY AND BEING A FELON IN POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION.

IT WAS DETERMINED THE CHILD HAD TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 200 YARDS AWAY FROM HER HOME ON THE COLD MORNING. 32 YEAR OLD ANGELA PINCHES ARRIVED AT AROUND 7:30 AM TO SAY THE CHILD WAS HERS, AND ADMITTED TO LEAVING HER AND HER 9 YEAR OLD SON UNATTENDED THAT MORNING. THE OVEN DOOR HAD BEEN LEFT OPEN FOR WARMTH. PINCHES WAS DETERMINED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE BELIEVED TO METHAMPHETAMINE AND ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT.
