You’re not imagining things. Prices at the pump in California are as high as almost anywhere in the country topping $4.00 a gallon, according to AAA. Six of the state’s 10 refineries have reduced output for repairs and maintenance, but the switch to the more costly summer blend is also part of the reason for the spike in prices.

The Hopland Real Good Solar Living Center will be changing hands following an announcement that the facilities have been sold to Cannabis distribution Company, FLow Kana. No changes are being planned in the near term, but both the buyer and seller say the new ownership will continue the Real Goods Mission. Both the Real Goods for-profit business and the non-profit solar living institute will be tenants When Flow Kona completes the sale, all three groups operating at the site.

Music in the Park is scheduled for Sunday at Recreation Grove in Willits- noon to 6 pm. There will be vendors, food, music, the Willits football team will be serving burgers and Taqueria Ramirez will be serving Mexican food. The community is invited to enjoy bluegrass, jam grass, folk singer-songwriters and down-home roots music by Lifted spirits, The West Nile Ramblers, the Sam Chase Duo and One Grass, Two Grass.
